Many supporters have expressed their interest in the raffle, but have some very good questions. For example, they do not want to move, and/or are concerned about the tax implications if they were to win. All winners, including the cash prize winners, are responsible for paying taxes. In the case of the cash prizes, Any Soldier will withhold the required amount of taxes to be paid out of the cash winnings and submit them to the IRS. In the case of the Grand Prize, the winner is responsible for federal, state and local property taxes and no transfer would be effected until the winner makes arrangements for these amounts. The winner may pay the taxes in cash or seek to obtain a mortgage on the house for the amount of taxes owed. Once the house is transferred to the winner, it becomes their property (subject to any mortgage they obtain on it), and accordingly they could live in the home, rent it, or sell it.

1. The prizes in this Any Soldier Inc. House Raffle (the "Raffle") shall be:

First Prize:	$10,000 cash
Second Prize:	$5,000 cash
Third Prize:	$2,500 cash
Fourth Prize:	$1,000 cash

2. The price per chance, as evidenced by a Raffle ticket (each, a "Ticket") is $100.00, made payable by check to "Any Soldier Inc." and mailed to:

3. Tickets will be distributed and Ticket stubs will be collected in the order that purchase price is received. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Checks that are returned for insufficient funds or other reasons will disqualify the Ticket.

4. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on October 31 December 31, 2008, to be eligible for the drawing. The Raffle drawing will be held at 12 noon on November 11 (Veterans Day) January 15th, 2009, at:

5. A minimum of 9,000 tickets must be sold in order for the Raffle to take place. The odds of winning one of the 5 prizes offered will be 5 divided by the number of Raffle Tickets actually sold, subject to the conditions stated below.

6. All prizes are subject to, and each prize winner is fully responsible for, any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prizes. Any Soldier Inc. has no responsibility for the payment of any taxes or above fees associated with the prizes. At the time of the this printing, federal law requires that corresponding tax withholding on prize values of $5,000 or greater must be collected from winners upon award and distribution. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice. The withholding laws in effect at the time prizes are claimed will be followed.

7. The winner of the Grand Prize will be responsible for any and all real property taxes and assessments accruing after the date of closing, and all federal, state and local income taxes associated with the receipt of the prize by the winner for tax purposes of income equal to the fair market value of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner shall take the real property in 'as is' condition.

8. Winner(s) must claim and accept ownership of the prize(s) within 6 weeks from date of drawing or forfeit the prizes(s) and a new winner will be selected. The winner of the Grand Prize must go to settlement on the property within sixty (60) days of the Raffle drawing date.

9. There shall be no substitution for the listed prizes by the winner(s).

10. The $100.00 Ticket price is not deductible for income tax purposes as a charitable deduction. The IRS has the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.

11. In the event that 9,000 Tickets have not been sold by October 31, 2008, Any Soldier Inc. reserves the right to extend the sale of Raffle Tickets through December 31, 2008, with the Raffle drawing to be held January 15, 2009. If by December 31, 2008, 9,000 tickets have not been purchased, Any Soldier Inc. reserves the right to cancel the Raffle and return the Ticket purchase price paid by each of the Ticket holders, minus a 1% processing fee, within sixty (60) days of the Raffle cancellation date. Refunds of Ticket prices will be made in the same manner in which the Raffle Ticket was paid (i.e., by credit card if paid by credit card, or by check mailed via first class by U.S. Postal Service if paid by check).

12. Any Soldier Inc. will convey the property to the Grand Prize winner by general warranty deed free and clear of all liens, encumbrances and easements and restrictions of record and applicable zoning laws and regulations. Closing services will be provided Chapman, Bowling and Scott Real Estate Attorneys.

13. Winner(s) need not be present to win.

14. Winners will be notified by phone and certified mail return receipt by November 25, 2008, or January 29, 2009 (if alternate date).

15. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

16. Each numbered Raffle Ticket stub will be placed in the Raffle Ticket container. Any Soldier^® shall appoint a single individual who will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the Raffle Ticket stubs. Such individual shall, by public certification under oath at the time of the drawing, certify that all Raffle Tickets purchased have their stub in the container of stubs where the winning Raffle Ticket will be drawn. Winners will be determined by random drawing.

17. Participants must be 18 or older to enter the raffle and be eligible for prizes.

18. Only one (1) person or organization may be identified as the purchaser of a Ticket. Title to the prizes shall be in the name on the Raffle Ticket stub. Tickets are not transferable or assignable.

19. The directors, officers, board members and employees of Any Soldier Inc. and the owner of the Grand Prize and children of the owner of the Grand Prize are not eligible to win.

20. Proceeds of the Raffle are solely for the benefit of Any Soldier Inc., which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered with the Secretary of State of Maryland.

Ticket purchasers, by participating (and winners, by accepting a prize) release Any Soldier Inc., and its respective Board, committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the prize(s) awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. Any liability of Any Soldier Inc. shall be limited to Ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, Any Soldier's decision shall be final.
